Why do I get into the dead end arguements? Even before the Cbertechnology
book's release I felt that Human becomes altered when a doctor plugs an
appliance into someones nervous system. Unlike amputies that loose a limb and
often have their nural receptors in the brain move the sensations to anuther
part of the skins surface (When you touch my upper left eyebrow "there" it
feels like my missing left foot is being tickled!) the cyber limb is
connecting with those nerves to contol the limb. Other cyberware just simply
removes the person from the human experience by altering his veiw of the
world relitive to him. Either it's slower or showing visible heat or very
crisply sounded. Still other alter the human experience by altering how the
person can manipulate that world. A person had a cyber gun that would
instantly fire from his palm surely would have a differnt veiwpoint of the
world than if he didn't. Or even be able to consider being able to attach and
detach arms when their damaged. I would say that would start my side of a
loss of Humanity.

But since this is all in the way the GM defines his world then it is surely a
dead end debate.

Agreeing with Robert Watkins, I would think some role playing should be
involved in raising PA magic attributes as well as powers just like learning
new spells. Not a just ad Karma kinda thing.

There is one thing that seems to vary from GM to GM and that is weather
bioware reduces the Magic attribute. I have been quoted from page 5 of the
Shadowtech book "...these characters (magically active) must spend Essence
and add to the Body Index when selecting bioware. The essence cost for
bioware is equal to the Body Cost."
I follow the next line that states that "In all cases, the Body Index is
merely an indicator; no real Body is ever actually lost..." Does anyone else
see it my way or are these Buckeyes right?
