Is there anyone out there at Gen-Con who can reply with a basic overview of
the new shadowrun sourcebook? (ie. it's here and here's a couple of cool
things that I saw in it..)

Or am I going to have to come up there and get it? ;)

According to Jeff Long, at 7:07 on 11 Aug 00, the word on the street
was...

I think you're going to have to mail someone specifically, as I doubt
they'll be actually reading this list. Try Thomas Price, who posted that
teaser the other day from his pager, but as it's not a very handy device
to type e-mail on (trust me, I used the thing last year :) I doubt he's
going to give you a long review of the book...

That might work, too :)

If you are going up to get it, write a quick review and send it down to the
rest of us. ;)

First comment from me about it (that is, of course, if Adam/Neuron hasn't
managed to keep me from posting :) is that: OMG, Otaku are playable!

First impressions of the book are favorable, I like some things, have
already spotted 3 places that need erratad (I think, I was very tired, and I
wonder how long it will take me to find those again :/)
