Well, I could actually afford that, given roomates (i might be
providing one) but I doubt I'd stay 5 days.

Yeah, walking with all your game gear can be a bitch. OTOH, quick trips
could be pretty easy if sombody could loan you a bike or you brought
other portable wheels, if I remeber my Milwalkee terain. That would be
my plan, anyhow. Gurth, if you're there, we could even have a bike
race. I'll provide the bikes. <g>

How do I sign up? I promise, I don't snore!

Also, could you tell me the UWM contact procedure- I have freinds who
might be interestesed (about 200 LARPers of various stripes, maybe 10%
of whom need cheep rooms)

bike race? I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to go to GC, but if I do,
count me in! :)
