opposite sex; it comes with the territory. I've seen people do it well
and I've seen people do it badly and I've seen people hit just about
every level inbetween; I think it's something one can't make general
statements about.
My (non-GM) characters seem to have run abut 40% female over the long
term. Like my male and alien characters they've had a wide variety of
attitudes; I don't generally like to play stereotyped characters,
because I find it boring. Some of them have had to be female to make
the particular character concept work, some have just sat up and said
'I'm female', and one simply had more 'female' skills than 'male' ones
(that was an Aslan in MegaTraveller).
There's a bunch of things I have to sit down and think 'how does this
affect this character?' when I build a new character; their sex just
one of them.
