Some good ideas in the movies listed so far.
I have something to add (wow, what a concept) even though it's a book,
not a movie. Has anyone read the Wild Card books? A real nasty virus, the
Wild Card virus hits. It's sort of like VITAS, goblinization, gene
expression, and HMHVV all thrown together. The results are interesting.
Lots die, but many of the survivors mutate in random ways (hence the
Wild Card name). Cool reading, if you can find it.
