there's a good gamestore in berlin at the karl-marx-strasse right around
the Hermannplatz (can't remember the name of the store right now, sorry)
or send a mailorder to the 'Fantasic Shop' in duesseldorf, konkordia
strasse. they are the german destributors for shadowrun. if they don't
have the sourcebook, nobody has.

hope it will help

If he's near the Frankfurt area have him go to Darmstadt. There's a store
there called 'Spielkunst' that has (or at least had) a copy. I saw one in
there last time I was in there. The store's address is 85 Soderstrasse.
