:]On a different note: Out of those of you who have read "Mona Lisa Overdrive"
:](Gibson), how would you set up the spririts that "ride" Angie?? It seems to be
:]a form of voodoo, not shamanism. Any suggestions?? I'm still fuzzy on magic...
Smoke:
My understanding was that they were using tech to communicate with the bioware
in her head. The capabilities of that bioware were never really discussed as I
recall. The spirits riding Angie were apects of the Neuromancer/Wintermute AI.
The whole voodoo thing seemed to be just a concept that these aspects grabbed
and liked. By doing that, they managed to get a lot of flesh voodoo-ers
interested, and I think that they even had a few other fleshlings set up to be
mounts. Of course, I could easily be wrong ^shrug^.
