I've heard the rumor of ceramic glocks, but all the ones I've ever seen
still contain metal insides, just the polymer exteriors. I've seen
quite a few, even the fullauto glocks available to law enforcement
types. Is there a purely ceramic glock?? If so, what is the
make/model??

No. Not currently. The ceramic Springs just aren't up to snuff. :)
And it's got only a bit of plastic. Most of it is still metal, the slide for
instance(it's just got a really nice tinifer finish with black parkerization
on top of that). Along with the barrel, most of the internal mechanisms, and
possibly a metal insert to help reinforce the freme.....

Not IRL, and even the "plastic" ones contain enough metal to set off metal
detectors, plus they have an X-ray-opaque dye in the plastic to make them
show up 100% on X-ray scanners.

In the NAGRL, there is a guideline that says that ceramic or otherwise
hard-to-detect weapons should get a +1 or +2 Concealability against weapon
scanners, but that's about it -- there are no FASA-published guns that
actually use this modifier, AFAIK.

I skimmed through a couple books and found the weapon section of NAGRL
chock full of polyresin niftiness. (One of the gimmicks for the book
afterall.)

Also the LD-120 lp and Ruger 100 sport rifle from the SSC is noted to have
plastic casings (maybe a +1 conc. for those). Of course, this info is
found in the little blurbs that don't describe the guns all that well, so
half the guns might be made of plastic and we wouldn't really know it...

Not that these rules came up much with my players...oft using the bulky
chunks of metal they carried around to use rather than hide.

"You spot a guard up ahead with a metal dete..." BANG! Thump.

Yep, but none of them is specifically mentioned as being more resistant to
weapon detectors, except being referred to in the general line of "Because
some weapons described in the Street Samurai Catalog have casings of
macroplast and other non-metallic materials" etc. (NAGRL p. 92). This
leaves it open to the GM to decide which weapons get this modifier, and
which don't, regardless of the text with the gun...
