I have just finished compiling a GM's handbook. It contains most of the useful
information from SRII, FoF and the Grimoire. It's intended to be a replacement
for the GM's screen and what's more, it's free :)

It will probably suffer form a few errors etc so let me know what's wrong
<off hand I know there are know dots on the skill web, so you'll have to pen
them in yourself>. Also let me know what else you'd like to see on it as I'll
be updating it from time to time, especially when new source books come out.

You can find it at teetot.acusd.edu or cerebus.acusd.edu in the /pub/incoming
directories. I had a few problems with this as the file doesn't seem to
appear when you type dir. But it you go into binary mode and type
'get gmhbk.ps.z' then you should have no problems. It is a postscript file
and has been packed with the unix facility 'pack'.

Let me know of any problems and I'll try to sort them out tommorow.

Well I just tried downloading it myself and it worked fine, even displayed ok
on ghostview. I've also just picked up my first printout <direct from 'word'>
and it seems to not have too many problems. Some of the boxes need to be
shifted a little to the left but that's a minor problem that can be fixed in
version 1.1

Don't forget, let me know what you'd like to see in version 2.0

Could you make one in ascii or rtf format? Since I am on a mac I can not
view PS files. Thanks.

Well, I just tried downloading it and was very unsuccessful. Cerebus
must have been down :-( Teetot was working perfectly though :-) Guess
I'll just have to wait. :-(

I just tried to get the file gmhbk.ps.z from the cerebus incoming directory
and was unsuccesful so I'd wait a while for that site till Jerry moves the
file to the correct place <he's been mailed btw>.

However if you do want it straight away you can get it from the teetot archive
in the /pub/incoming directory. Note: It doesn't display when you do a
directory listing, but you can still type 'get gmhbk.ps.z' don't forget to
be in binary mode.

Also Paolo has a copy and will be putting it on his WWW server shortly, I'm
also going to mail him the original Word document as he says that he can change
the format without too much diffulty.

Btw, I'd transfer it to rtf and ascii but there seems to be no facility to
create rtf documents in word for windows, as to an ascii version, well I could
but you'd lose all the nicely formatted boxes which I have all the information
in.

Paolo,
Windows Mosaic is not the only program that dislikes *.htm files.
Lynx doesn't work with them either. Could you add the extra "l". It would
allow people without the lastest, fancy version of the most powerful WWW
client to access your homepage, too.

Thanks,

Try Paolo Marcuccis Shadowrun Site, or Gurth's, both of which are
available through this list
GURTH http://www.xs4all.nl/~gurth/index.html
Plastic Warriors http://www.xs4all.nl/~gurth/plastic.html

Can't remember Paolo's off hand
