Just wanted to reccomend some books. They aren't cybertech or even
high-tech, but they are amusing and deal with shadowrun-like
activities. You might get some interesting ideas from them.
They are the "Dortmunder" series by Donald Westlake, and you usually
find them in the mystery section. (Dortmunder is a burglar who, with
a team of friends of various talents, occasionally gets hired to pull
some kind of heist; but things never go quite right) Particularly
for Shadowrun, I reccomend "Good Behavior", "Don't Ask", "Drowned
Hopes", and "The Hot Rock".
