I have a very retarded question thats been bothering me for a little
while, What kind of government does Seattle run under? Is it just a city
government with the Lonestar acting as a proverbial army? or is it under
something bigger like a UCAS for the north?

The Seattle Sprawl is considered a state of the United Canadian and
American States, complete with a governor, as well as senators and
representatives that go to F.D.C. and have votes. Marilyn Schultz is the
Governor's name, AFAIK.

Seattle runs under a system with a mayor for each district and has a governor
for what is basically a city-state of the UCAS.

Lonestar is not the proverbial army for Seattle, that is what the Seattle
Metroplex Guard is for. In addition, there is a military base in Ft. Lewis.

Seattle is a "city-state". They have a mayor and a governor and all the
wonderful burocratic messes associated with both a city and a state! :)
Lonestar is the police force, contracted out. There are a couple UCAS
military bases present as well as a local National Guard. Seattle is a part
of UCAS, not a colony or anything.

And the military that is stationed there would be suitably hoop-kicking
and well-equipped. Seattle is a geographically isolated area surrounded
by hostile and well armed neighbours.......It pays to have a strong
military presence, just in case.
