I don't quite understand the mechanics of summoning and keeping a
greater form spirit. I realize that you have to successfully conjure the
spirit, resist drain, and survive the astral quest (which I realize can be
nasty). Once you've summoned them, they can cross domain lines and
"storm". But after that I kinda get foggy. I've read through the Grimoire
a couple of time and that hasn't helped. Here are just a few questions,
feel free to answer other questions that I don't know that I should be
asking. (I apologize if this has already been discussed at length, doubly
if it was recently.)

How many services do they have?
What can you have them do with their services?
How long can you keep them?
Do they 'go free' if you're knocked out?
If they're not present?
Do their stats change at all?

Thanks,

Charles Winston

However many successes you got on your conjuring test.

The same as a normal spirit except they can also 'Storm' and cross domain
boundaries.

Next sunrise or sunset I believe

Same chance as a normal spirit

Pardon?

Nope.

This is mainly about great form nature spirits, right?

> How many services do they have?

As normal -- one service per success rolled.

> What can you have them do with their services?

The same things other spirits of the type can. Elementals can also use
Engulf power in an area with a radius equal to their Force, in meters, and
show off their powers by bursting water pipes, etc.

> How long can you keep them?

Until the second sunrise or sunset after you summoned the nature spirit.
With normal spirits, it's the _first_ sunrise or sunset, so this extends
their service time somewhat. Great form elementals stay indefinitely,
just like regular elementals.
For both goes that they also leave when you've used up all their services.

Or at least, that's what I remember. I can't seem to find it in the
Grimoire right now...

Both these are only for allies (p.72, Grimoire), not great form spirits.

> Do their stats change at all?

Not that I know of.
