With everyone returning from GenCon, I would like to remind that Non-SR
related chatter should be kept off list. It's gonna be enough of a mess to
wade through. ;)

Sorry, when I hear what WotC is doing to D&D, I have to wonder what
the future will hold with Decipher holding the reigns. The gaming
industry is still going through a lot of changes and I don't see the
current trends as encouraging.

Ancient cultures believed that names held great power, personal names
more so and they were guarded very closely. To protect themselves, they
answered to another name, because if another discovered their real name,
it could be used against them.
History repeats itself.

To be perfectly honest, I do not think the whole FASA/Decipher thing is
anything to be overly concerned about. What little I was able to glean is
full of a positiveness, and Decipher does NOt seems to have anything
resembling the business plan of wotc.

I think the fact that MikeM shaved his beard might have moe of an impact on
SR than anything else. ;)

Now, until something final is reached on FASA and Decipher's parts, I would
really like this thread to be cold, as speculations and rumours will not
help our beloved games any. ;)
