It's that time again, folks. Yup, time to look at the messages
that you're collectively sending to the list and say, "good gods, why
didn't I edit them more judiciously?"
Posts have been getting *really* long of late. When our
signal-to-noise ratio drops to it's current level, it's time to start
editing your posts. Only quote the relevant material from pervious
messages. Do *not* include all 150 lines of someone's rant just to say,
"yeah, I agree" or "no, and I think you're a wanker." Read the FAQ.
The
posting guidelines are clearly stated there, and proper editing of quoted
material is high on the list.
Good editing is polite, it makes threads easier to follow, and it
makes archives and digests *much* smaller. So please take the time to
chop out the deadwood and only quote the relevant parts of the messages
you are replying to.

Remember: the bandwidth you save could be your own.

I wouln't say I have it memorised, but yeah, I keep refering back to the FAQ
every so often DVixen. Why did you THINK I ran in terror when you mentioned
the name of a certain banned furry woodland creature??
