<GridSec>

Ok. Enough is enough.

Tempers have been QUITE out of control, for whatever reasons, right now I do
not care. I would, however, like to redirect EVERYONE to /dev/null.

I (and the rest of GridSec and the Admins of the list) do not care who is
making what cinders or flamage, it ends. This means if I were to catch
FASAMike in a flame war, he'd get slapped just as hard as the newbie who
just joined the list. This is not a popularity contest, to see who has the
most respect for whom, or who can get away with what. Nor should 'Those who
are in the Know' be teasing 'Those who are Blissfully Waiting' (There are
days when I wish the NDA included a clause about not teasing 'Those who are
Blissfully Waiting' .... *grin* )

This is a public list, and that means everyone who is participating in
discussion should think before hitting the send button. Enough of the
'knee-jerk' reactions. I've seen some very eloquent posts made by some
people, only to see a response to it that takes how I interpreted the post
(and no doubt the poster's opinion), and twist it into more cinders. *sigh*
Even apologies to the list in general are taken as cinders, instead of
heartfelt apologies. An apology is not supposed to be an oppourtunity for
more flamage....

This is a very diverse list, and someone is bound to take umbrage at
someone's remarks. If you have even an inkling that someone might take
offense at your comment, make it known that you don't want it taken that
way! Use a smiley, hand a salt shaker around, use <tongue in cheeck> tags.
And if you are reading something, and you do happen to take offense, go get
a cup of tea, then think about your response. Chances are if the comment is
let slide, it will go away.

LOOK at what you are posting. How relevant is it to Shadowrun? Can you add a
one line comment that makes that ultra cool news article you saw in the
Toronto Sun have some relevence to what the list is for? Heck, ten responses
down the road, you might be discussing Shadowrun. Now wouldn't that be a
novel conecpt? ;)

I thank the people who made situations known to me that should be dealt
with, and I do not thank those people who created the situation in the first
place. I'd like to think that everyone on the list is capable of self
policing themselves. Please, stop proving me wrong.

Words of wisdom.

</GridSec>

(And now I go for my cup of tea before hitting send, and then I'm grabbing
the 2000 year old carp and I'm gonna have a nice long chat with the GridSec
groupie, Cullyn. Hope you can run, mister!!! *veg* ;)
