Agreed. Initially, I let this one roll because it had
applicability. That is no longer the case. Disagreements have
turned to semantics, and the topic had gotten the kind of "subject creep"
that happens to most online discussions. Fortunately, there has been
little or no eye-gouging, name-calling, or blatant flaming, for which the
participants deserve a fair amount of credit (given the emotional nature
of the subject at hand).
Further, now there are complaints about the thread, and complaints
are taken very seriously by GridSec.
So, as GridSec's "Bad Cop" I will step up to the plate and
exercise my authority as "The Man." That's right, I'm gonna oppress all
you ShadowRN suckas and lay it all out:
THIS THREAD DIES NOW.
If you choose to continue the discussion, take it to private
e-mail. Period.
If you're going to discuss something that is a spin-off topic
(such as the relative disadvantages/privileges of having or not having a
SIN) please do everyone a favor and change the subject header on your
messages to clearly indicate that fact.
Or risk the further wrath of GridSec (and trust me, you don't
wanna be that guy ;-) ).
