Yes. This happens from time to time, with the list server software
apparently not sending some messages to everyone, while others do get
them. It can be damn annoying, especially if you don't see any replies to
your post either -- you don't know if it's been distributed at all, or
whether simply nobody responded to it (or if they did, but you also never
got the replies). AFAIK the server's author is aware of the problem, but
it hasn't been fixed so far.

Just a little tip. Set your mailing list preferences to REPRO, that is,
reproduction, which will send your email back to you along with all the
other posts. That way, you're pretty sure when your posts' been eaten by
the Cookie Mon... I mean, the list software. Either

A) Visit http://www.jackpoint.org and change your susbcription options there
or,

B) Email shadowrn-request@*********.org with the subject or body (not both)
as "help",without the quotes. Now, I'd tell you to automatically write to
that email addy with the body as "set shadowrn repro", but since they
changed the list software, I'm not sure it's the right command anymore.

Now gimme my gold star.

I'm not sure this helps. Posts eaten by the software usually
still get sent to some portion of the list. I've had this happen both
ways for me, so getting your message isn't always a good gauge. What
I did see is that the list archive always seems to keep a copy of the
message even if it doesn't send it to everybody. The list archive
should be off a link on http://www.jackpoint.org.

What I think Trinity meant was to set Repro so that you don't think your
post isn't making it to the list just because you didn't see it.
