Ok, right. The *act* of spellcasting does not create the bridge. I take
this to mean that if you're floating around in astral space, and a mage in
the physical world casts a spell, that does not mean you can slam your
manabolt into him. Irrelevant. For Quickening and Sustained spells, the
spell has already been cast....it's not the act of spellcasting that's
creating the bridge, it's the spell itself.

All IMHO, of course. :)
