Grounding as a Metamagical Talent... sure, no problem.

An Initiate with Grounding can cast spells from the Astral Plane into
the Physical Plane. The Drain of Grounding spells is increased by 2
levels. If the Drain level is increased beyond Deadly, add +2 to the
Power of the drain for each level increased beyond Deadly.

And keep in mind, Drain on the Astral Plane is always Physical.

Or

An Initiate with Grounding can cast spells from the Astral Plane into
the Physical Plane. The base TN of such spells is increased by +2.
