The closest i've seen to the assault cannon around today was a
picture of an experimental 30mm grenade rifle the US army was
playing with.
Big heavy thing, rifle size but a lot wider and chunkyer.
Soon as i saw it i thought 'Assault Cannon!'
So maybe the SR one is a Direct fire weapon , the round
configured to get one shot stops on light vehicles and
paranormal animals, also Modern battle armour.

The Sniper ranges are laughable, so maybe try basic range
x 1+ (aim actions) to range x4 or something.
this'll make 1 simple action snap shots at 1km impossible, but 3
aims and your on more realistc ranges.
And once your there, aim again to change targets AT that Range.

Elephant guns are fun weapons. The solo in one of my games used
to use one (before he moved to manchester)
The gun was an antique, but he stole it and didn't care . The
rounds had to be custom made (you turn the casing out of brass
bar on an autolathe and then build the press to set the primers,
and then you need to get the proper propellant and cast the
bullets...alot of trouble, but he thought it was worth it)
In the end he was buying tungsten cardide tool edging bars from
metal suppliers, lathing it down and teflon coating them.
(Before the 'Teflon doesn't increase Armour Penetration 'Lot
start up, this stops the rifling being stripped off by the
bullet)
. 600 Nitro Express rifle with laser sight firing high density
penetrators. Evil Gun.

Last time he used it he blew the leg off the woman on the roof
of the lift, as she was arming a grenade. damage was
considerable. sad end really

CHOPPER
did you tell her you were a clone, Steward?
you should, you can't let her think you're the real Steward can you?
VOICE OF THE WHIRLWIND

and what infamous thing are you seeking to eradicate?
what've you got?
