>Hmm, I don't think this has to be a "Me vs You" kind of issue.

I forgot to add a smiley :( (No, that one doesn't mean I wanted to add a
":(" smiley to the subject line, it means I'm ":(" about forgetting to
add a
":)" smiley to the subject... Anybody still with me? :) I corrected it now,
though :)

>I think we probably have the same opinions on most things, from

Oh hell, it seems like I keep saying I didn't mean things the way I typed
them, this is another case of that... I'm civilized enough to hold a
discussion without starting a fight (I think :)

>I brought up that game because someone asked me if I'd encountered

All I can say is that it'd most likely been different had I known about your
previous RPG experiences...

>But in that case, the problem was resolved

Actually what got me going on this issue was two things: first, the obvious
referral to "my" (make that: "our") PBEM, and that you said "kept
referring
to us as ..." while in fact I only made one remark.

>Perhaps I should have included an addition: "This happened, but the GM
>was very reasonable about it". That might have been better.

Oh well, it's been resolved now :)

> I wasn't re-accusing you of anything, which is why I didn't
>mention it was your game and was rather surprised when you did.

Well, as I said before I don't see why I should be embarrased about saying
something... And of course my urge to respond on nearly any subject I feel I
have even the slightest thing to say about... (Maybe I should quit doing that :)

>And unfortunately, if this -is- going to turn into a "me vs you" kind
>of thing, then it's really not going to be SR-related, hmm? Maybe
>"Gurth -and- Eve on gender in PBEMs" would be better.

See the Subject: line :) You're right, it isn't SR-related anymore, it's
more a personal discussion on a mailing list... I'd be willing to take this
to private email if you want to go on, or else we could drop this thread
here and now.

>Congrats, by the way, on thoroughly spamming my mailbox... *boggle*

With the sourcebooks thing? Come to think of it, I'm now wondering whether
_I_ even received it...
