Yeah, but in the time I've been here (nearly as long as Gurth, I think)
he's usually right. And Gurth, having played SR since it came out doesn't
mean I know everything about it either. (Quite the contrary, really.)

I've been playing and collecting just as long, and even I have beeen
twice recently in rec.games.frp.cyber smacked on the nose for being
wrong. Painful learning curve, I love it. Of course I'm striving for
that elusive Shadowrun Zen Master level, but so far I have a long way to
go.
I remeber the Origins convention the year after Shadowrun's release
where I got to ask a question on how flash attacks work to Dowd, Hume,
and Charette. I also remember then commenting how rare it was to get
them all together and then rarer to get them all to agree on any answer
not just to mine. Remembering this now humbles me because even they
cannot always agree.
Trivia note: at a FASA seminar they mentioned the unofficial
elements to a FASA cover were Women, Guns, and Tatoos. All the covers
had at least one of these elements at the time and that the more of these
elements together the better. I guess to have a "true" Shadowrun poster
we should choice one with all these elements. <grin>

Ancient cultures believed that names held great power, personal
names more so and they were guarded very closely. To protect themselves,
they answered to another name, because if another discovered their real
name, it could be used against them.
History repeats itself.
