Gurth :- (or anyone else who knows)
A query(seeing as I'm leaving soon) my version of Unzip is having problems
with your zip-ped files, it won't pull most stuff out, becuase you used
'compression method 8', which appers to be common around most FTP/WWW
sites.

What is it, how do I get it out?

Is this a dumb question?

Who cares: no more exams :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

'less of course I come back for a Masters :-()

PS. "House of the Sun" by Nigel D. Findley has jsut come out, and I'm
1/2way through, really, really good, though I wish I understood more of
the 'in'-jokes, probably snipes at his gaming buddies. This book is
another reason why I miss the guy so...

Get a new version of unzip. Make sure it's compatible with pkunzip.

The last is the prime concern, since I pkzipped it on my PC at home, then
uploaded it to my home page directory (saves me some phone costs) I think
the pkzip I used was dated 1993, so any version that came out between then
and now should unzip them properly. (I hope :)

very good book, I really enjoyed it, defintely reccommended.

Didn't you ask about new ways to role-play in Chicago...? Not to spoil
your fun, but Nigel was definitely thinking along the same lines as you
when he wrote this.

Very funny, very good, and they put a death-notice and eulogy in the
front. He deserved it.
