Subject: Gyroscope Mount, Running, and Turning

I seem to recall that there were specific rules which made it difficult, if
not impossible to turn while you are running with a gyroscopic weapons
mount. Anyone remember which book that is in? Also, can a character run on
one initiative pass, stand still on the next, and then run again on the
third? I was under the impression that once a movement rate was chosen, a
character had to maintain that rate for the entire combat turn, but then
that might just be a house rule someone told me once.

I don't think actual rules for this were ever given, but there's a
shadowcomment in the SSC to that extent.

I'd say he could, but would move only 2/3rds of his maximum movement for
the turn.
