ok, point: they should have gotten around this little problem by now.
If you can replace an arm with a mechanical version with no loss of
functioning, you can compensate for the loss of said bones, and the
problem has been worked out. If you'd like to make cyberwear a pain in
the butt, use some bleeding rules, etc.

And to where you put the spur, I remember the SSC describing (see the
forearm snap blades) that the spur has 'bone reinforcement' which
indicates it is anchored to the bone, or so.

If I remember right, you could get the spur in two types: the three
blades, or the one longer blade. But both should be anchored in the same
way.
