I just picked this up in Yahoo's picks of the week:

Microsoft's Terra Server contains a Terabyte of aerial / satellite
images. As usual the areas covered are mostly US and European, but
it's nice to get some ideas for maps from:
http://www.terraserver.microsoft.com/

it out.

Caution, this site gets a lot of hits.

I spoke to hastily, there's a big drawback to this service:
they charge for the smallest scale pictures. Something Yahoo forgot
to mention, and I forgot to check. Sorry for the inconvience, I
wasn't plugging MS services (gods forbid!).

This mail is solely the opinion of Martin Steffens. The Family
Steffens does not necessary condone his opinion, nor do they accept
legal responsibility for it. In fact since he tends to ramble a lot,
they take distance from everything he says. Also they do not like
him. If you read this mail anyway, it's your own problem.
Oh yeah, and IOL just take his money, and further agree with the
Family Steffens on all points.

Verily you have struck a gold mine!! This is indeed a useful site.
Especially for those so inclined as to produce source books and
adventure modules.
