AW FUCK. Just typed whole message and lost it.

OK, recap:

Anybody who wants a Hardback Sr3 from Gencon, I'm willing to buy and
mail them; I'll buy up to 15, in adition to the 2 I've already promised
to folks.

How do I decide the 15 recipients, (maybe with an easment for demand)?
1: Obviously, if promised (those 2), I'll get your book
2: If your name is in SR3 (actual name in credits, you'd probably know
about it), your in, even if that pushes me over 15. But check with FASA
as to wheter you can get one yourself- I'd be amized if you can't.
3: Bribes. Sorry, Gencon isn't cheep, and I am. Bribes over $10 cash
value will be refused. Gurths name and other NON-cash bribes are
completely valid (nominomical bribes must include verifiablity).

E-mail me for my work adress or if you find this offensive, I'll follow
up in couple days.
I'll eventually need a money order (or similar payment) for FASA to
cover the books cost, stamps to cover the shipping VIA USPS, and any
special shiping container you care to get (otherwise, I'll wrap it in
double thik cardboard and secure with packing tape, which should be
quite enough).

I've heard nothing but rumor in this regard. I for one don't *expect*
anything from FASA, but anything they do do will be gratifying.

I would urge everyone of you to put *civilized* pressure on your local
retailer to do their part. I would also urge everyone to send a *polite*
e-mail to both Mike Mulvihill (FASAMike@***.com) and Jill and Rett in their
Marketing wing (FASAMktg@***.com) and urge them to consider ways of making
the hardback more commonly available to the general consumer. Don't
demand, don't threaten, just let them know that there is a good enough
market outside of GenCon to warrant a wider distribution.

I'm pretty sure that a stack of 100+ e-mails in their in-box over the next
day or two could go a long way towards them reconsidering their marketing
position. Can't guarantee a change, but it should be enough for them to at
least think twice about things.

Please, if you absolutely must pick up the phone to call those poor folks,
please ask to simply leave a message. I'm pretty sure they have voice mail
and it's a whole lot less rude to leave a voice mail than to interrupt
their day with your complaint. Really, either fax or e-mail them.

Who really should be getting paid by FASA for the PR support he's been
doing lately...let's see, my current billing is...

Yes, FASA has voice mail. Simply phone and ask if you can leave a message
for whoever..

Okay, just to let everyone know, as a reminder of course, I have already done
this. I have as yet received any further word from them beyond the letter
that Mike Mulhillvil did send me back as to what has been done in the past at
Gencon (with regards to Second Edition's release).
