I tried to log on starting about a half hour early and kept getting "busy"
signals. I got through finally and they were sold out. I checked my online
clock and they last between 26 and 27 minutes. I figured they would go fast
but this caught me by surprise. I thought being self-employed on a Monday
morning at 9 AM EST might give me an edge. At least this way we all had a shot
at getting one.

At 10:01 CDT, I was on the online order form for the Hardback...

There was a red flag there, with the "Coming Soon" tag, so I reloaded the
page to check it out...

I'm still waiting for it to reload :/

Instead, I sent an email to FASA, and hope for the best...

They would not let me order one on the phone. They nice lady said there
tech person had told her that everything was working correctly, but that
she had had so many calls in the last few minutes that she would call them
back about it again.

I don't know what to tell you chummer but I got one at 845am PST time. That's
1045am CST.

It took me a while. I had to sign off from the FASA site and log back on, and
then it still took me forever, but I have a receipt that I printed out for a
HB.

Sorry.

You are a Prince among men. Your pointing out that I was an hour early has
resulted in me securing one of the Limited Edition hardbacks. I owe you a
favor according to the rules laid down in the Shadowrun Companion.

Does this mean the order I faxed in at 10:01 is filled I wonder? Hope so.
