Has anyone else noticed how easy this adventure is to avoid completely if
you're a player? Just say "no" when Ariel shows up and you're home free...
And in case anybody wonders, the security teams weren't much of a trouble
for my players (me GM, they players :) -- two Mana Clouds killed 90% of them
outright, and the remaining NPCs didn't respond too well to lead poisoning :( :(
And then they say to Ariel "No thanks, we've got our own transport." Knowing
the PCs, I didn't push it too much because they'd have toasted her van...

You probably should have boasted the security team. After all, Ehran would
have been aware of the player's reps.

I've run it twice, and in both cases the party got into the van. The
first time all of them were caught; the second, the decker wasn't,
because he was in hospital!

I found the trick was to make it *look* like really serious opposition,
and make the party *feel* that they were pinned down. They could have
fought their way out quite convincingly, but when you think you are on a
loser, you tend to take a supposed easy option.

The first time, they had people posted outside. The party asked Ariel to
pick them up!!!!! <vbg>

It might also help if you accidentally leave Sprawl Sites open on the
page where there is a scenario suggestion which details a Corp Rigger who
likes doing runners favours and pulling their fat out of the fire. They
might think that you have pulled this off because the team were getting
creamed when they weren't supposed to. It helps if you injure a couple of
the NPCs first and whilst doing so make it look like you weren't
expecting it:

"Oooh, geez, I hate to say it but I rolled 6 successes, that takes you up
to Serious wounds."

They'll think you're doing them a favour when they see Ariel's van pull
up :)
