Well, except for the fact that it also "promotes well-being" which
probably boosts immune responses. Also, we are sloughing off dead skin
cells all the time. I'm sure that the entire epidermis isn't shed,
just the outside few (and dirty, infected) layers. Otherwise, you'd be
the equivalent of a burn victim (ow ow ow). Reminds me of the Horror
power of Skin Shift from Earthdawn... perhaps some nefarious
shadowrunner will devise a "Skin Flay" health spell.
