I am setting up a character and am just starting with ShadowRun. I
have very little knowledge of the language and still do not
understand about all the concepts.

Can anybody help?

First of all, there's no capital letter R in the middle of Shadowrun...
<grin> it's pet peeve number 3 with FASAMike Mulvhill (I still want to
know what number 2 is).

Second of all, welcome to the Sixth world, Chummer...:)

Third, language isn't really that important. There's a bunch of slang used
in the novels and game examples, but it's just flavor... I think someone
(Sascha? Paolo?) has a list of all the SR slang on their web page...

Fourth, if you have the SR main book, that's all you really need to know...
Read it over, and you'll learn all you need to start... Especially read
the "And so it began" section, and the short story "Plus Ca Change"

Hope that helps... i really don't have the time to go into a complete
disertation about the SR world... maybe I'll get to it later...:)

Helping is a bit hard without either some more details about your
character, or specific questions.

Some generic help:

* If you don't understand something, ask the GM and other players
* Don't worry about the rules -- do what seems right, necessary, or fun,
and let the GM tell you if it's possible or not and/or what you need to
roll to do it
* Enjoy yourself
