Hello everybody,

I'm in need of creativ ideas, so, please help me:

Player(hot-shot decker,elven) in my group is coming from Atlanta. Lost
his parents in racial disturbances (maybe night of range or something),
maybe not dead, but nowhere to find. He was picked up by old, wise
mentor, who teaches him decking (no, he's an elf, not a turtle). Mentor
dead (but still alive as AI/Program-construct in the Matrix, teasing
him), he moved to Seattle.

Now, I won't to write a new story and send him searching for his
parents (classical stuff). My question is:

How? What happened to the parents? I'm in need of information about
Atlante, too (Yes, I own NAA to America).

Parents are divorced
One of them goblinazed into an Ork or troll living in the barrens
the other one new married in a small corporation but having a new name
both hard to find but not impossible the goblinized has old neighbours
which remeberd that he gob. and moved anway (you player can ffind some
old neighbours or working mates of parentes to find a clue ...)
Other idea is both moved out of atlanta and are living with a new new in
seatle in the same street your player lives (*EVIL SMILE*)
One of the was killed by humanis?alamos 2000
....

Bring back some underground faction of racism and bigotry. Being from the
South, I have to tell you, that idea probably is not too far fetched.

No matter what happens, groups such as the KKK continue to exist. Have the
decker's family be captured by the group. The decker could be hired to gain
some information or some such thing and 'accidentally' come across some sort
of information pointing to his parents back in Atlanta.

Don't know if this helps or not.

(Just in case anyone misinterprets my post, I in _no_ way endorse the KKK or
other such organizations. I was born and raised in Arkansas so I've seen what
they can be responsible for.)

They were all captured, processed, and bottled through the machinations
of a fiendish plot by the Coca-Cola Beverage Co.

For the past few years (real time), Atlanta, Georgia, USA has been
becoming more and more of a hotbed of the Television industry, due in a
large part to Ted Turner starting a few of what have now become major
cable networks in and around the Atlanta area.
Not sure what the official FASA word is, but it'd make sense to
me to find that the entertainment industry has continued to grow there,
and that by the 2050's much of the worlds' news-trid and old movies pass
through circuitry which physically resides there.
Perhaps his parents were part of a test group invited to a
pre-screening of some new Simsense technique, and ended up being killed,
so the corp covered it up as best they could. This would leave a lot of
room for the character's decking skills, as well as some on-site
surveillance and, possibly, assassination if he/she is revenge-oriented to
that level.
