I noticed one of the more common threads on the list is dragons, so I'm
posting the list of Great Dragons supplied by Gurth to my homepage, with
additions (let me know if you object, Gurth).

I'd like to add a Lesser Dragon category, but I don't own enough of the
sourcebooks, modules or novels to compile a complete list... can people
please let me know (on the list or through private email) about the
lesser dragons, including the dragon's name, type (feathered, western
etc), any notable facts, and what source material it comes from?

Thanks guys...

No objections from me. It'll be in NERPS: Lost And Found anyway, which I
should send off to Paolo real soon. Better do that right now, come to
think of it...

Eliohann, a western dragon from the "Dragon Hunt" adventure, is the only
one I can think of right now.

Err, I take it that you want "official" ones? We've run into a lesser dragon
or two that were GM's inventions, and I've got a retired character who's
mindlinked to one.

Perianwyr (Western) from Maria Mercurial and Killing Glare.

Also there's the one (other than Arleesh) in Bottled Demon but I can't
remember his name off hand (western). Don't know if he should really
be included. I won't say more for spoilers.

There's an Eastern dragon I saw in an adventure in Mob War (or maybe
Missions) , but I was just thumbing though it and haven't read far
enough into it give you any details.

Also, Haesslich from the novels is a Lesser Dragon, not a Great.

Evidence, please?

Last I heard, the jury was still out on Haesslich.

Well, it's pretty hard to actually kill a dragon with a minigun unless
it's firing APDS. (Won't even mention stun rounds *grin*)

Besides, there was no body in the novel, and I'd rather see the dragon's
body, and stab it a few times before I believed that it was dead.

Evidence? Haesslich is never referred to as a Great Dragon, just as a
Dragon. The Great Dragons are so important, the author would have made
certain we knew exactly what he was. And why would a Great Dragon settle
for being the security head of some po-dunk minor Corp? How the frag could
he be (allegedly) killed with just a minigun? Considering what it took to
take out Dunkelzahn, it would take more than just a sammy with a big gun to
take down a Great Dragon. Haesslich's "death" didn't meet with the same
kind of Dragon funeral-type display that Dunkelzahn's "death" did.
What more evidence do you need?

Lady J was talking about the jury still being out about his death. He
certainly wasn't a great..... He (was) a Lesser, that's fairly certain, he
just may not be dead.

(After all, he was Cheif of Security at United Oil, and losing him would
have caused an upset).
