If you pay close attention to the movie (the only Highlander movie) or
even if you're drunk when you watch it, you should notice that neither
the Highlander or the Kurgan have any exceptional fighting abilities
other than a century or three of plain old experience. I really doubt
that they should be portrayed as PhysAds. They're a little like that
guy in that old Chuck Norris movie (Silent Scream?) who kept healing
and coming after the Chuckster. Ok, bad analogy. But they really
didn't have any different fighting skills than from when they became
immortal. Just more experience. Armed Combat (Sword): 15. Sound good?

BTW, if you can, watch the German version of Highlander. Some different
scenes and extra scenes, too. Fer instance: know how McCloud met
his secretary? He saved her life in NAZI Germany by taking a storm-
trooper's entire magazine full in the chest that was ment for her.
Lots more pre-death/awakening scenes too!

Hey, there's already a Highlander in Tacoma, and even if he were magically
active, he certainly wouldn't have 6 Magic Points. :)

Wow, Immortality for a measly 6 Magic Points. Can he use additional MP to
buy PhysAd powers as he Initiates? If so, Getting the enemy Highlander's
MP would be incredibly obnoxious.

Roll for Magic loss: Since Immortality cost 6 points, does he become
mortal when his Magic falls? Can he take Geasa to compensate (I say no;
there's no way you can have Zen and the Art of Immortality).

Deadly Damage: I assume you mean taking Deadly damage in a single edged
attack. Taking ten Lights shouldn't kill a Highlander. As for operating
past Deadly-I say unconscious. Kurgan could've staged that SMG burst down
to Serious.

Frankly, unless the campaign centers around the character being a Highlander,
even as an NPC, I don't see much point in having them around, except to
provide yet another label for "fighter". I think the idea needs some work;
it's pretty vague. But it is prime material for the 2nd Awakening Handout.

I admit, it is a munchkin, but I didn't write it! I found it, and
thought the people on here might like to see it. BTW: I highly
reccomend Smasher Land BBS. They have an area set aside for Shadowrun,
and also a message area for it. It's a pretty good board. I might
post the files list for the Shadowrun area later.
