The following insane questions were stirred up by a discussion of Dragons
vs Startships. . .

If you had some kind of reverse missile spell in Shadowrun, and someone
fired an AA missile at you, would it turn around and ignore the IFF
transponder of the firing vehicle? Would such a missile hit a single
person or would they get to dodge it normally (OK, roll Body + CP against
20D)?

What about sensors? In Shadowrun they usually says somthing like "this
version of invisibility works against machines". But what spectrums does
it cover? For instance, if someone develops an X-ray scanner and uses it
to look for a mage with Improved Invisibility, will it work? I think it
works against thermo/IR/visible/UV light, but how about Gamma rays (no
Hulk jokes please).

Interesting problem. But do you realy need to know the answer. How many
runners actually expect to encounter military sensors and survive. If they do
though, rather than relying on set rules I would play it by ear. If you want the
runners to be found, then find them. If you dont want them to be found ask
them what sort of steps they are taking to avoid detection, get them to roll
a few stealth checks. Scribble down you weekly shopping list {behind the
GM screen, to make them think your doing calculation}, roll a few dice, put
on a look of despair and say that they avoided detection.

In other word play each situation by ear.

Adeus
