The European critter book is very distinct on it: Goblins are the vampiric
(or a vampiric) form of Dwarfs. Even more interesting is that they don't
have infection, if I recall, and the shadowbabble in their entry points out
that that means someone is most likely deliberately _spreading_ the virus...

A good point. All other vampiric base-forms are not dual-natured.

I know _that_, Jason, I was wondering about the "werewolfization." Sheesh,
read it yourself. :-). I was mumbling in my beard about whether the
Loup-Garou virus would do to any other metatype besides normal humans.
Since Loup-Garou is French for "werewolf," I coined the useful phrase above
to show a person contracting the lovely illness. No Shapechangers need
apply.
Having corrected that bit of trivia, I return to my lurking. :-)
