Greetings fellow listmembers,

MC23 has prodded me out of my hermitage I've been in since GEN-CON, working
on various projects at a fevered pace. I have been reading the list and
taking notes on stuff relevant to SR3 and my various other projects, even
though I haven't been posting.

Since I'm getting caught up, I thought I would take the opportunity to say
hello to everyone again and post a few things I've thought about, either that
I've worked on lately or that have come up on the list. Your comments, as
always, are welcome.

BTW, the last time I talked to FASA it looked like Rigger Black Book will be
out around the end of Sept. Cyberpirates will probably be delayed until Nov.,
with Predator & Prey to follow in Dec.

Another fine example of me being up to no good.

It's great to see you post othe list again, Steve.

Back off, K! You blood-thirsty beast,...He's young and inexperienced. Let
him live! He has a whole life ahead of him. I have to agree that it will be
a naive one, but ignorance can be bliss. Please for once, let the boy live.

Thanks DV8. Not naive, but actually a rather civil way of saying hoi to all
of you. It's called common courtesy K. Chilvary and Irony: lost arts in
cyberspace.

Anyone willing to play online? Anyone from the Nashville area?

Okay, don't ask me why I've decided to be this way, but the reasoning for my
response is simple. The RN List is nothing *BUT* gamers for Shadowrun.
Anyone whom joins it should realize that and the initial statement was "any
gamers out there". Think about it for just one second and you'll see why
someone might reply with such a goofy statement.

Now as for this one ... One of my players is from Nashville, but she's a
permanent relocation to Lafalot here.

And there are loads of possibilities for online gaming. The WebRPG (I think
they are moving or rearranging their stuff they have online, anyone with more
information speak up) stuff exists, there is also the Deep Resonance: Forums
area (part of the Shadowrun Archive)(http://shadowrun.html.com). There are
also the IRC games that happen with some frequency online as well for people
that get into those.

Chivalry ... that cute ... I like that one ...

Sorta like walking into a hospital & asking if, "there're any doctors in
here?"

It's also commonly courteous to wait for a week or so & get the "feel" of
a
newly joined mailing list, before posting to it--especially those lists, like
ShadowTK, with _very_ stringent posting guidelines. (Isn't that in the FAQ or
something?) That way you're in less danger of irritating the regulars.

My we're a grouchy lot, aren't we. Anyway, welcome to ShadowRN, ShadowTK,
PlotD, & all that.

Can't help you with the Nashville part, but we do have a page for On-Line
Shadowrunning:

Irony? Sorry, bud - it rusts. You'll only find Chrome and high density
polymers in here.

[1] Yes, this actually exists, I found it in a pile of mail at the house
where we played yesterday, addressed to a previous occupant. It looks like
it's for people who want to be upwardly-mobile at their jobs, but with a
name like that, I just had to have it ;)
