Hey all. I'm new to this list (obviously). Just wanted to say hey and ask
something.
I'm curious about the effects of the HMHVV in dwarves, and trolls. I know
that humans become vampires, elves become banshee, and orcs are wendigos.
anybody got some stats for these creatures?

Trolls become Dzoo-noo-qua. Or something of the sort ( I mean spelling wise
).

No, They are not. They are in north american paranormals; Trolls become Tzu
no Qwa or some such pronunciation- basicly, big armored(hardened) hulks with
increased stats and most of the other vampiric powers, plus magic resistance.
Dwarves, I don't remember seeing anything on. I think they are resistant,
or just die, or at least turn into something that doesn't resemble a vampire
(no essence drain/infection). I could be wrong. Paramnaturals of europe has
Nosferatue, which are more powerful than vampires, magically at least, but
I've purposely avoided them as a favor to my GM.
Whats up? Everone seems curious about the ghennesis of vampires. Are you
going to allow PC vampires? I ask because my elf samurai may be infected.

Trolls become dzoo-no-quo (sp?) and stats are in Paranormals of North
America. Dwarves? You got me, chummer...

Well... if your eyes start glowing red, and your teeth grow long, and you
start looking at people's necks in a weird but strangely fascinating way,
I'd say you were a Banshee... :)

Dwarves become goblins (PAE, p.52), trolls become fomorians (PAE p.46) as
well as something else I think...

Player vampire would be the extreme of unbalancinf influence. Just the
power of regeneration is enough to an impossible to control character(I
know, I let one of my players play a shapeshifter, bad mistake!). PLus
the other powers .... as a DM I would not let that happen!

Paranturals of Europe also has Goblins...which are the result of the
occasional dwarf being infected by the virus.

Hoi chummers,

a new gamemaster joined your ranks.

I just wanted to say hello to all of you. FYI, I've been playing shadowrun
since the 1st edition and GM'ed since the second. We had some very extensive
campaign during the 2nd Ed, but unfortunately we stopped playing about 2
years ago. Now I want to start again with the 3rd Ed.
