OK, this is getting beyond a joke. Disable number 3 so I'm going to have to
do something about it (unless pipermail is being mod'ed to cope).
So can anyone recommend a decent free web based e-mail service which doesn't
suffer from the Microsoft incompetancy gene?

A lot of people seem to use yahoo without too much problems. A little too
much advertisement on it for my liking but thats why it's free. If only
DEUS had a mail server you could use...

He does, the only problem is that when you put in your details he
immediately dispatches Banded to check whether you have the gift enough to
join the Whites...

Actually I may have found one quite similar, anyone know of any problems
with Sithmail?

Mailman [not Pipermail - pipermail turns the email logs into the online
HTML archive] will not be modified to cope [afaik] - doing so would be a
step back because it would be making the software more broken. The best way
to enforce standards is, naturally, to actually enforce them. Hopefully
the people running Hotmail may notice that they're doing things the wrong
way, and actually modify Hotmail to work correctly.

For web-based mail, I've only ever used Yahoo extensively, but it seems to
work fine.

Best,
Adam
