Does anyone know of any rule that rewards a character
for using both hands on his pistol or SMG? It seems
rather stupid that there is no difference between one
and two hands on a firearm.
A rule could go like this:
If only one hand is used:
Pistol- +1 recoil
SMG- +2 recoil
If both hands is used normal recoil is used.
yep, yep.
Suggestions (or corrections:]) anyone

<plug>Take a look at page 52 of Shadowland issue 6</plug>

My house rules (which are in the mentioned article) work as follows:
recoil is +1 per round fired, recoil compensation is applied,
and the remaining recoil is multiplied by a factor that depends on how the
weapon is braced:

x1 for holding it properly (pistol with both hands, rifle or SMG against
the shoulder, etc.)
x1.5 (round up) for holding an SMG, rifle, or other longarm from the hip
x2 for pistols and SMGs held with one hand
x3 or x4 for longarms held with one hand

Example: Firing a 6-round burst from an Ingram Smartgun (which has a gas
vent 2) while holding it with one hand gives a +8 recoil modifier, while
firing it from the hip (held with two hands but not against the shoulder)
is +6, and firing it from the shoulder is +4.
