House rules that we use include giving full mages a 1.5 multiplier to the
good karma they recieve at the end of an adventure the logic is this-
sammies etc can get money and tech but mages real values are time and karma
so we reward them this way. We then had to give 1.25 times karma to the
phys adepts etc

note that this bonus only applies to spending the karma not to total karma
for karma pool calcs etc.

Favorite spells (a new topic with no warning :)

1)sleep, area affect low drain willpower
2)invisibility/levitate(my fly type levitate of course) combo (you can hit
what u can;t see or don't know where it is :)
3) u can;t see me on ultrasound when i use "Spinrads Silent Sphere" no
sound out of sphere but sound into it and within it *and* outside sounds
also pass around it so defeats ultrasound (it does not obey phyics because
it is magic=simple but it does need some work and William "not just rad"
Spinrad is on the job so to speak.
4) because i am also paranoid spinrads Detect Detection Spells spell! and
wait for it
5) spinrads Anti-detection spell spell [your successes are applied against
theirs]

(currently in seclusion working on my anti-anti-detection spell spell spell
and a spell to detect this spell aaaaarrrrggghhhhhh........thunk.

soon i the nghtchld will have to set NOMAIL on this list and do some work
at uni but not today because of the interesting discussions, spinrad

Just a simple observation: as an ultrasound works on returned
signals, having a device or magical spell that prohibated those returned
sounds would leave a very un-natural looking "hole" to the viewer;
depending on how the data is presented, it would either give an "area out
of range" reading (as it would not be getting any return signals and
would be assuming that that particular area was too far away to detect)
or just leave a big blank spot that a viewer might find very suspicious.

heh. cool spells. I had an Anti-Spell spell once, but it never seemed to
work...
