The way I understand it, is that if the focus is bonded, it doesn't really
matter. What matters is if the focus is activated or not. Remember, if a mage
wants to use his focus, he must first activate it. That is when the trouble
from astral beings becomes a reality. So, our phys-ad friend up there who
is carrying a load of foci, can't have a spell grounded out through them,
because the foci aren't active, and since they aren't bonded to him, he
can't activate them.

And, as far as the Minataur's question on cybereyes is concerned, here's
some insight. The limit of .5 essence is not a limit of how much cyberware
you can get put in your head, it is the limit of essence that can be used up
by eyeware. That is, no matter how much eyeware you get, you can only lose
.5 essence. So if you have just normal cybereyes (not beta or alpha), thermo,
low-light, a camera, and mag-3 optics, the character only loses .5 essence, even
though that grouping of cyberware adds up to about 1.6 or 2.0 essence. (no
flames on the essence totals please, I don't have my book with me.) (flame on
the other stuff if you want.)

Where did you come up with this Rule? I mean this is NOT a flame
but I have NEVER heard an interpretation like this before! As a
Samurai contemplating *more* replacements please tell me where it
says this???
