I just wanted to check the feasability of this with someone, kind of bounce
this off the sounding board. I'm running a campaign right now, and one of
the aspects of this campaign goes something like this...

Vampiric Cyberzombie (lemme explain...)

A vampiric corp (probably mostly Tremere for anyone with a Vampire:TES
background) with their R&D laboratories hidden deep in the Tir have decided
to enter the arms market, and in experimentations decide to use one of their
own as a test subject for a new race of warrior (probably the idea of a
Malkavian, again V:TES). They turn a human and immediately perform a
cybermantic ritual on him. There are slight variations to the incantation to
keep the body from rejecting the cyberware, and also a sort of spirit link
to the originating vampire mage. All essence drained by this new vamp go
directly to the mage and the cybervamp is kept (un?)alive by the cybermantic
rituals.

Obviously this would result in a form of madness in the subject (his
introduction in the run is to be hunted down by my runners...hired
unbeknownst to them by the vamp corp). And he wouldn't have the vampiric
gains provided by essence (ie - strength would be relatively low for a vamp,
other than the cybernetic augmentations...).

This leads to another prototype idea which will be particularly nasty but
fun and I'll most likely explain at a later date...

Anybody spot any glaring problems with this? If you're interested in running
the campaign for your own group, let me know and I'll be glad to share what
I've come up with so far... I may actually upload a good deal of the
information (technical and otherwise) to the Shadowrun page I've been
building and compiling...
