Ok, first off, not all elves are immortal. Barring injury, most elves will
live for about 300-400 years, IIRC. Some few elves are immortal, in that
they won't die of old age (they can still be killed, but it will be
difficult).

However, there are two types of immortal elves. There are the immortal
elves that have been around for centuries, and then there are those that
were born in the 6th age. I don't see the second type as unbalancing,
because, so far as I know, there is no major difference between them and
other elves. The first type should never be PC's because they're well
beyond the power of anything but a dragon in SR.
