Three variants that I've been told about:

>>>Recieved from Aggnews@*****.tamu.edu:

As you may be aware, the LoveLetter.worm has hit TAMU and TAMUG as well as
other institutions and businesses on the Internet. At least three new
variants have been discovered to be in circulation, and the number could
easily escalate. In order to protect your workstation from infection, some
steps have been outlined below, which should prevent any future variants of
the LoveLetter.worm.

First of all, be aware of the following subject lines and attachments:
If you receive an e-mail message with one of the following subjects, do not
open it - just delete it!

* "ILOVEYOU"
* "fwd: Joke"
* "Mothers Day Order Confirmation"
* "Susitikim shi vakara kavos puodukui..."

Depending on the e-mail program you use, you may also find attachment files
on your computer such as:

* "LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.TXT.vbs."
* "Very Funny.vbs"
* "mothersday.vbs"

Well... From some points of view... It is very funny...
:)

Hopefully, this lot will do more harm to MicroSoft monopolisation than even
the DOJ can, as everyone switches from Lookout Excess to something like
Pegasus or Eudura. (Or even dumps windows altogether).

Heheh, yeah right! :)
I would settle for people becoming a little bit more careful
when it comes to opening attachments, and not just for two
weeks after the virus hits.
102 copies so far and counting :).
