Hi Everybody. Nobody probably remembers me, but I was previously
around with the email address of demonpenta (or demonpenta2) at AOL.

Now a college freshman, I have the ability to escape that beast and
use a mostly proper mailer, netscape messenger express.

This, thus, is my way of testing to see if it doesn't break things.

Now, onto an actual question.

Like I said, I'm a college freshman at the University of Scranton.
Scranton has bugger-all for game stores, and I don't drive, so I need
to get my SR fix online. Regrettably, however...

SR isn't on Amazon. Where might I get my fix from, and since the last
book I got was YotC....What should I get?

All I have up here is the softcover BBB, so....I need my fix. I need
it bad. (If only there were RPers around here...:sobs:)

Why does everyone who returns here after being away for a while think
nobody will remember them? :) Now if you'd said "Nobody probably missed
me," you'd be right -- at least as far as I'm concerned: I usually only
realize someone went away when they return :)

You're not sending HTML or any such crap, which is definitely good :)

As people have mentioned, http://www.stiggybaby.com has a bunch of
Shadowrun stuff. I've never used them, but the general opinion is that
they're pretty good.

The direct source would be http://www.fastforwardgames.com/fanprosales.htm
- Fast Forward handles all of FanPro's web sales and is also helping FanPro
sell the FASA backstock products. Currently they only take PayPal, though.

The Steve Jackson Games' online store Warehouse 23 at
http://www.warehouse23.com is stocking FanPro releases [anything FanPro
releases or reprints, basically] and they take CC/cheque/money order/etc.
The exact URL for FanPro stuff is
http://www.warehouse23.com/search.cgi?keywords=Shadowrun&comp=%27Fantasy+Productions%27&cat=&pline=&gtype=&status

Wake of the Comet. Target: Awakened Lands. I hear SOTA
2063 is out in America (haven't seen it over here
yet). I could swear there's another book I'm forgetting.

There's always ebay, I don't know about that side of the pond (I guess) but
you may also find that not-so-local gaming stores are quite happy to do mail
order. They may not do online ordering but...
I've not had any trouble with stiggybaby but I have only used them once,
however the copy of Universal Brotherhood they sold me was in seriously mint
condition.

In Canada and US try http://www.levalet.com/ They charge in CDN prices,
so you usually get a good deal on the exchange.

In the UK, try http://www.sorcererschest.co.uk They charge below the
suggested retail price on most things from what I've seen and I ordered
some stuff through there and got it pretty quickly.

Yes. It should have hit retail stores in late July.

I have two sources for SR books online. The first has already been
mentioned.

www.stiggybaby.com

This store is amazing. They have never let me down, either with the quality
of their merchandise (when they say Mint or Near-Mint, they MEAN it!) or
with their ability to find books that are out of print/hard to get a hold
ahold of. Their prices are pretty high (close to cover) on some books, but
their S&H prices are the cheapest I've ever come across buying online
(besides free...which doesn't count). They almost always charge less than
retail, though sometimes only by a dollar or two. At least check them out.

My second source has always treated me well, but not as reliably.

www.ebay.com

Just search for 'shadowrun'. You typically get about 3 to 4 pages of
product listings. Ebay is an experience all its own, I am not going to eat
up list space with all the various tricks for winning auctions and getting
things at the best price. Everyone developes their own system anyway. My
best advice: watch those S&H costs. They can add up, driving a book well
beyond the original cover price. And get Paypal. Fastest, most efficient
method of online payment I've found. The whole free part really helps too.

Korishinzo
