Subject: immortal elf campaign....

For those who were curious about it when I posted about a month or
so ago, the campaign I was running where two of the characters were
immortal elves and didn't know it, is finally over. Some highlights:
Seattle getting invaded by combined units of S-S and Sioux forces, some
mysterious benfactor (Dunkelzahn) protecting them from overt action by
Lugh Surehand and the Council of Princes, A Horror manifesting on Guam,
and a corrupted dragon taking a liking to one of the other characters.
The main thrust was a dividing of the established immortals into
elf/dragon lines, and everyone wondering what these two were going to do.
One of them has a rabid hatred of elves, so willingly went along with the
dragons, while the other one didn't care and went into the corporate
arena.
The reason we stopped this hideously high-powered campaign was
that the players got tired of being munchkins. sometimes there is justice.

Tsk. Shame I missed it. Sounded fun. I have no problem with high level
games if the all is equal and there is lot's of intrique with the
occasional combat.

Roleplaying is certainly more fun then simply flexing your muscle and
showing how tough you are.
