Ahh... perhaps not. Have you looked at any of the (fairly) recent literature
from biology (esp. marine biology) on sharks and sturgeon? It strongly
suggests that some of these fish could indeed be "immortal," because
it appears that they never stop growing and regenerating--unless they are
killed by some outside agency. Admittedly, they grow slowly by human
terms--but what's to say that elves don't? If these fish can be immortal
in our real (?!?!?) world, why can't elves be similar?

Well, I think that makes it a *whole* lot easier for many of us to deal
with the game conceptually, but what's to say that we know both all the
laws of Nature and all the loopholes in those laws?

You're welcome. ;)

Whistler, I don't know what your problem is, but I think you have been
listen to professors way to much. "Mother Nature", Gaia, Is a strange
and interesting being. You cannot know Her ways, nor will a mere
mortal ever understand what She does. The fish story is an example.
Some fish live virtually forever. And elves might also. The fact that
humans say that nothing can live forever is nothing more then
jelousy speaking. Maybe we could live forever, be immortal, but
because we have treated Gaia so poorly She will not allow us to that
privilage. And if you want to argue with this science drek, see my
earlier rant.

Shadowdancer, I don't know what you problem is, but I think you have been
smoking pot a little too much.

:-) [This is not to be taken too seriously, but this makes you sound like a
tree hugging, drug using, hippy. Are you? :-)]

See that posting where a number of Force 21 free storm spirits possesed
troll sammies in heavy power armor w/ force 8 power foci.

Of course that is as far from classy as it gets.

Try cybered vampires.
Not too classy either.

Force a BTL addiction onto them! That is the way to go. Especially w/ FASA
drug rules. Munchkins tend to be rules lawyers so... Turn the tables. Make
em deal w/ an addiction.
