I was creating a character when I noticed that if i spend enough
cash i could get Muscle augmentation to the point over racial maximum.
Well, my question was is it really possible to make a human with a
quickness of 10 and a reaction of 7. If so what about adding a
suprathyroid gland or an adrenalin booster?

Through totally natural means, spending karma allows one to exceed racial
maximums (that is if your GM allows it).

Through augmentation through cyberware and bioware, any joe can have
attributes that exceed racial maxima - all you have to do is have the cash
to afford it. :)

However, consult your GM about increases in an attribute do to
augmentation and then increases your natural attributes through karma (ie.
replacing muscle tissue through cyber then trying to increasing your
strength by spending karma.)

No problem. Until you get biosystem overstress. Let's just say you build
a character with Quickness 5. Then drop in Muscle Augmentation 4 and
suprathyroid gland. This gives Quickness 10. Then put in an adrenal pump
level 2. If you switch it on, you get Quickness 12. 12 is more than two
times 5, so you can get overstress (ShadowTech page 7). Roll a Body test
against a Target Number = character's Body Index. The above BI is 7.1
(OK, so the character's an Ork) with Body 8. No successes? the
character's Quickness drops to 2, and he takes an M Stun wound. I don't
know if the bioware adds its modifiers to the Quickness of 2, making it 7
(or 9 with the activate pump), though. Anyone know the answer?

But to sum up, it is very possible to stick in so much bioware that you
get Quickness 11, Strength 13, and so on.

Yes, it *is* possible. In fact, the absolute top for a human is
a lot higher. If you can afford them, and your GM will let you have
them, take them and run with it. Both of those two do have drawbacks.
You eat like a hog, and just wait till the Adrenal runs out in the middle
of a firefight! With the money, I go for Damage Compensators instead.
