As Gm, I guess I get to answer this, although at least one other
member of my group is on here. We're all students at the University of
Washington in Seattle. I'm twenty, an English major, and have gm'ed a
variety of games since 6th grade (including the only Toon campaign I've
ever heard of) the group members are....

Charles aka bung - 21 yr old stat major. usually plays a sam, altho' he
has a rhino shaman for the current campaign.

Geoff aka frgkng - Ceramic engineering. Famous for really offbeat
characters including the infamous sun shaman. Currently an electrical
elementalist.

James aka zit - >21 industrial design (i think). plays PA's with a
penchant for punching pigeons.

John - my brother. 19 yr old undeclared. Pays hideously violent sams.

Steve - I know almost nothing about him. plays a hideously wired sam

Peter - 18 or 19 yr old elec. egineering. usually plays a mage, but is
playing a cyber-thing (non-trad sam) this time.

Brian aka happyman - English major, i think. Doesn't have a character for
the current campaign, had a halfling shaman for the immortals campaign.

Ooooo! Someone actually from Seattle! Everything I learned about Seattle I
learned from ShadowRun (exageration).

So how much does it rain there, really.

Short answer: a lot
long(er) answer: every year I've lived here (since '94), we've
exceeded expectations for rainfall by feet. But since almost all us LIKE
cloudy, overcast weather, it's not a problem

Heh... I've been tempted, on occasion, to ask drivers of buses 70-74
(University/Downtown) if they stop at the Renraku Arcology. :)

Oh, not that much. Why, this year, we had 3 whole weeks of sun. :)

I lived in Seattle/Tacome during my formative years as well. Don't
believe everything you hear, it only rains regulary from September 1st
thru August 31st. Actually in my games I roll a 1d6 for each game "day"
and on a 1 it's a down-pour, 2-4 is normal rain, 5 is partly cloudy, 6
is light clouds.

Stephen Eley compiled a weather chart for Seattle once, based on some
meteorological (sp?) web site, and observations from a listmember who
lived in Seattle at the time. Needless to say, I grabbed it and put it in
one of the PW books :)
